Many of my students wish to attend my class during their open period, but currently, I must create and load individual passes for them each day. Manually issuing these passes on a daily basis is a time-consuming, tedious, and cumbersome process.
It would be extremely helpful to have a recurring pass feature. This would allow students the flexibility to accept or decline the pass depending on whether they choose to remain in study hall or participate in the open lab option on any given day.
Thank you for considering this request!
Hi Jason - we have a great solution for this in our Flex Scheduling module. Please reach out to our team and we’d be happy to share more information about how this can help you out this school year! https://www.smartpass.app/flex
Hello, this feature is already present in the Schedule Pass. Toggle “Declineable” to on and create the pass to repeat Daily. Add all the students you want to and generate. You will need to repeat this process after every new student inquires to come to your classroom during open period as you cannot add onto an already created list of students in established recurring passes.
I would have to do that for every single date on the calander individually. Once I select more than one student and a room to go to the repeat feature is removed. So it works in theory, but becomes very cumbersome in reality. Thank you for trying!
Got it - thank you for the clarification!
Ah, you are correct. It will only work 1 student at a time when declineable. Possible but definetely not efficient!
