Hello SmartPass Team,
I have a feature request that I think could benefit many schools using SmartPass.
It would be great if administrators could customize the welcome message that students see when they open SmartPass to create a pass. Instead of the default greeting (e.g., “Good morning” or “Good afternoon”), schools could display a short, personalized message such as, “Thank you for keeping our bathrooms clean! – Principal Jones.”
Behavioral science suggests people are more likely to make positive choices when they receive a timely, positively framed reminder at the moment they’re about to act. In education, these “behavioral nudges” are often more effective than posters or assemblies because they appear at the exact point of decision. A personalized message from a principal or other school leader also helps reinforce positive social norms and makes the message feel more authentic and connected to the school community.
I think this would be a relatively simple enhancement with the potential to create meaningful positive behavior change for many schools.
